hey fellas, hows it goin?
ive had a hell of a time trying to find some dextrose and maltodextrin but finally found some from my local brewer...
anyway, after buying the malto, ive found out about the dextrose equivalent rating of the malto.
and heres my problem, the brewer nor his supplier :-O no the DE! so, does the DE make a huge difference to my PWO shake?
i searched the company that the supplier gets it from and it looks like the highest rating malto they make is between 28 - 31%.
I was under the impression that the malto needed to be less than 20???
