Whey Gourmet. "Frappucino", "Raspberry Cream", etc. both tasted good in water. Not the cheapest stuff though.

This may seem odd, but I think the problem I had with Whey/water was the texture more than anything else - seemed like it was really "thin". So what I've been doing is reducing the amount of water and it thickens it up to the consistency of milk. Give it a try. I've got the ON Cookies & Cream and it's not too bad - pretty sweet tasting, but no too bad. I liked the Mint Chocolate as well.

With the strawberry you could always add some actual strawberries in a blender too.

I buy the unflavored/easily mixable formula (like what you can mix into recipes) and put a scoop in a glass of water, sprinkle some crystal light powder in, mix it up and add ice cubes. I got the idea from Nectar Protien, which tasted great. This way you can have whatever "flavor" you like, such as lemonade, iced tea, etc... I bring it in a water bottle with me everywhere I go. No longer a prob with getting protien on the go!

I can't stand any type of PP with water. I think it taste way too nasty. Maybe if I got some different types, but it's milk for me.

Getting to much gas from milk Kevin?

I do the same. Some other flavors combo that work for me:
- Cocoa powder and instant coffee (aka mocha)
- Vanilla extract and cinnamon

Lifetime's Whey Protein Isolate tastes pretty good in just water. I used to use Designer Whey's chocolate, which won an award for best taste, but it blows compared to Lifetime's. FWIW.

The only protein I've found that tastes good in water in Biotest Low Carb Grow. I'm sue a lot of people on this site use it. The strawberry tastes awesome. Not the cheapest stuff on the market but definitely the best.

Muslce Milk is good in water, but its more of a meal replacement supplement, not a protein powder you'd want to use post-wo.

I concur with Grow and Muscle Milk - both have excellent flavor and mouthfeel in water alone.

thanks for all the input. I am looking for 100% Whey Protein mixtures that are good in water. CB has me doing a scoop before and after workouts instead of adding gatorade (which I usually do) to shed thoes last lbs.

Again thanks for the posts

I agree, so I usually mix the water and milk with it.
