does anyone here use/agree with the use of them when building? i am just wondering because i am seriously looking at using them for a short period of time but before i do anyhting i want to learn as much as i can

as of now i know absolutly nothing and would like to learn more through someone pointing me to some articles as well someone giving me some info from experience thanks

from what i know, these forums arent to keen on roids. you shouldn't be either.

im not keen per say i am curious and unsure reason for me not being on them and doing plenty of research before thinking about a cycle

T-Nation has a great set of articles by a guy who is on steriods. It's interesting because you kinda of get in the head of someone doing them.

I still don't think they are necessary.

If you want info on roids, this isnt the right message board. You can try massmonsterz.com or elitefitness.com. I know both those boards have forums for people who use roids. I just visit these sites for the lifting info, btw...hehe.

But honestly, dont do roids man.

thanks guys , as asked above why it is beacuase i ahve been working out for 7 months now 5 days a week and have gained only 5 lbs so i was just looking at other options not sayin this is the one i was going to choose just learning

I bet your diet sucks.

How old are you? What's your stats (height, weight)? How much do you eat in a day?

What's your workout routine like? 5 days a week - you may be over doing it. Have you lifted before, or just the last 7 months?

You need to step back and think about some other factors before you go on a cycle. I'm sure OldGuy is right.

I bet your diet is awful and not nearly enough for mass gain.

Training 5x a week sounds like over kill to me. I train 3x sometimes less a week and have gained 7 or pounds in 8 weeks.

I recomend getting the book by John Berardi, and Mike Mejia. It's called Scrawny to Brawny. I know it would help you pack on LBS of muscle without the juice. Trust me it has for me.

man dont get mad at me i dint say that was the only way im new at this and looking for advice. thats all i wanted

ive been trying to understand the whole calories and carbs thing to gain but i cant get my head wrapped around it i dont know why
so im sure that is a big problem as for 5 days a week i wasnt sure how much i was supposed 2 so maybe i am overduing it i have changed to 3 days a week know on the training for maximal size program see what that can do and hopefully find some diet info i can understand

thanks again and i will definatly try everyhting before i go the "easy" route of steroids for the face bulking look

Even on steroids, you have to eat enough to gain. Try normal stuff, first.

Try tracking your calories and figure out how much more you need to eat to gain weight.

Post your diet. If you dont have a diet then read the articles on Johnberardi.com and make one. The first article there, "7 habits" is a must read and will give you the basics of how to set up your diet. Good luck.

Don't take the reaction to your question personally eeseen. Personally I'm fighting the urge to verabally kick-your-ass and its not because I harbour some hate for you its just that I'd hate to see someone risk their health (not to mention jail) just because they don't look like a fitness model.

As others are stating, there are better (not necessarily quicker) ways to gain mass. I'll second the recommendation for Scrawny to Brawny.

thanks again guys and like i said dont get angry i wasnt asking where to get them i was asking knowledge on them and know i have backed up and am looking into proper healthier and more beneficial options example diet and the reaosn for this is because of you guys wasting your time helping me out

7 months is too early to be taking steroids... 7 years might be too early. It all depends on your goals.

I don't believe steroids are evil, they're just another tool to help you reach your goals. That being said, it's a dangerous tool that needs to be used and monitored correctly.

you forgot to mention illegal. possession, distribution etc. can get you up to one year in the federal pen.

Not to veer from the topic but if you just take steroids yourself, I don't see how you can get that long of a sentence. On top of that, I don't see how steroids (taken correctly) are worse than smoking or drinking...

i think its more the fact that people do not use them correctly when in use which can cause bodily harm as well as steroids are illegal for reasons and for me that is sayin they are not safe enough for commmon use by unknowledgeable people

you're largely right. I think of it like a drug. You can do heroin recreationally for quite some time before it does any non-reversible damage to you.

Even viagra...fun for the whole family (at least mom and dad). If used as directed no prob...if used for a 7day binge you might have to have your cock drained.

It's not the physical addiction that's the problem, but the mental one. Ask any smoker...the nicotine is out of your system in 48hrs (give or take), but you'll likely crave a smoke for the rest of your life.

I wouldn't suggest using steriods. There are so many negative health effects of using that totally outweigh the benefits. You'd be better off not using them, and if your looking to get stronger and bulk up, you can do that by changing your diet some.
