Maybe it's just me, but now that I've been eating every 2-3 hours, I find that I HAVE TO eat that often. In fact, at about 2.5 hours, I often start getting a bit snappish and damned hungry. It's often hard to concentrate at work, too.

I though it was because I'm not eating enough, but it still happens, even on a day when I eat a lot more.

I'm happy with my body and my progress, but things were sure a lot easier when I was fat and just ate breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert.

thats pretty interesting, i started eating the "Brawny" way with meals every 3 hours and i find that i always feel satisfied (food wise anyways). Sometimes when i'm making my next meal i think to myself, "damn it feels like i just ate", but i still scarf down all the healthy food outlined by mike and john.

actually come to think of it, one time my roomate was making some super good looking/smelling junk food and even though i had just eaten my meal and was full, i still wanted some of what he was eating.

so maybe your problem might be that you're surrounded by too many temptations and just get the natural urge to EAT!

Lost_Dog I hear you full out on this one. If I dont eat every 2-3 hours I get really angry in fact I start lashing out on people when they dont give me food. It really is nice to eat healthly and all but I have a feeling I will never be able to relax with my diet I will always have to eat massive and every 2-3 hours. It really does get to me and sometimes I feel sick to my stomach when I dont eat.

I am the same way Lost Dog. I think that is just how I trained my body to feel since I am feeding it every 2-3 hours. BTW, another downside to eating like this is that whenever you go out for na while you have to bring some food with you to get your next meal in. But I think its all worth it.

amen. Every since the 5-7 meals daily if I didn't have that it's not pretty. Really sucks if you don't plan ahead and your away from clean food too.

The biggest thing for me is to try not to get grumpy at my family. Sometimes I think we're eating in 30 minutes, but it takes a while to get ready to go out, etc. Pretty soon, I feel like I'm missing my window. Need to eat! Mostly psychological, I think. 3 1/2 hours won't kill me, every once in a while...

Hey Lost Dog look at the bright side: your metabolism is on fire, that's why you get hungry so often. A high metabolism will give you tons of energy physical and mental and just generally keeps you healthy (that's all anecdotal BTW).

And CTA... take some time off a cheat a bit. I did that this afternoon. I went mini-golfing with my 4 year old and then went out for hot dogs and ice cream -- at his request. Now I feel like crap from that food and I'm sure I won't diverge from my diet for many weeks to come.

Every now and then give in a bit and indulge. I think often times many on this board get hung up reaching a goal -- you'll do much better finding a way of enjoying the process of reaching a goal rather than constantly chasing something.
