Optimum Sports Nutrition,
your competitive edge.

A complete nutritional guide for optimizing athletic performance, by Dr. Michael Colgan

(Pub-Advanced research press 1993.)

Seems to be a great book, I just started reading it, and adding some of the nutritional guidlines into my diet. I feel great!! Has anyone else seen or read this book??

I haven't see or herd of the book. The next book I buy is going to be Core Performance most likely.

Let me know how good the book is though once you finish it. Thanks.

Does anyone else have massive weight fluctuations? Im sure it has alot to do with athletic training, water replacment and so on but my weight can swing from 191lbs (wednesday night)after training up to 200lbs (saturday night after a cheat meal)

Ive noticed different carbs will bloat me like simple sugars or potatos/flour products, so I avoid them ,but lately, brown rice and whole wheat bread as well. I need the carbs to perform, but I feel they are holding me back from making any real fat loss progress. Im at a loss...I need the fat off, end of story.

I need some input here...please please please?!?!

CtA318, the book (OSN)is very informative, gives loads of info on vitamins and minerals.
