Let me start by saying, i have limited knowledge on this subject, but i know it is essential for me to grasp if i want any hope of getting more built. There are alot of questions in here, and if someone(s) could take the time to anwser them or a few of them i would be greatly appreciative.

I want to be built. However, i am quite skinny (not that skinny) but you cant see my abs when i am standing up, only when i tense. This has led me to the conclusion i have too much body fat, however, i cannot cut down as im trying to put on muscle mass. I have a very high metabolism. What advice do you recommend for me. To be slim, lett body fat and be but, or to be built.

Now on to the nutrition, i am very confused as to what i need to eat in order to have maximum gains. If someone would be able to comment on the following foods and advise if they should be part of my diets, and reccomend some others i would much appreciate.

Tuna in Brine(Water)
Prawns(shrimp)
Fish Fillets
Milo (with full creame milk)
Cheese (normal)
Banana, Plumbs, Oranges
Peanuts
Peanut butter (standard and natural)
Eggs (whites in particular)
Mushrooms
Gatorade
Chicken
Red Meat

Thats about what my diet consists of atm. Now for my last question, what should i eat pre/post workout. I eat raw pasta before i work out. I sip a 600mL bottle of gatorade during the workout, then down another one at the end. When i get home i immediatly take a protein shake and continue with some carbs (pasta), some fruit (normally banana and plumbs) and some form of protein (red meat, chicken or fish). Before i go to bed, i put alot of peanut butter on lebanese bread and eat it.

Any advice?

1. If you wanna gain muscle just forgot about your abs for the time being and bulk up. After you have put on some muscle, then you cut(lose some weight) and you will look a lot better cus you will weigh more, have more muscle, and be more defined. It's a long process but the results will be worth it.

2. foods that arent good on that list(everything else is good)

milo
gatorade
standard pb(stick with natural)

3. Read this link to learn about pre/post-wo nutrition...
