Ive been taking a new Creatine mix by 'Interactive Nutrition' called 'high octain'. Its actually a complete drink mix with a few other things in it like glut etc..

Ive reacted to it in a couple of ways...I am stronger. 10lbs on all my lifts and 20lbs on squats and deads (it may be placebo). My digestion has been a mess (no pun intended), and finally, I am starving. I am supposed to be cutting around 2000-2200cls but I am not satieted until 3000(ish) the only thing ive changed is my creatine blend.

My diet is as close to TAP as I can and hasnt been an issue prior. im dropping a respectable 1lb a week, but this week im way up, due to overeating and water retaining effects of creatine and so on...

Anyone else experience anything like this???

Are you drinking more water? I am cutting and taking creatine also and I am eating 22-2600. I need to drink more when I cut to keep my belly full.

Hi Lax...yes im drinking 2-3litres a day due to my martial arts training on top of my routine, but you know it only seems to keep my stuck at the urinal every 20 minutes so I have been thinking about cutting my water down to 1-2litres as well.

I was thinking that mabye im drinking to much coffee or there is hidden sugar in my diet somewhere provoking this hungar...

Im not sure....

Is the creatine you are taking combined with a delivery system with high glycemic carbs. if it is and you are not taking it immediately before or after your workout you are spiking your insulin which could be the culprit of your hunger.

I could be wrong, but I don't think 2-3 litres is all that much. I know that I drink at least 5-6.

Hi Von here is a look at the Interactive HIgh Octain breakdown.

50gram serving.
Calories 165
Fat 0
Cholesterol 0
Sodium 20mg
Potassium 110mg
Carbohydrates 40g
(sugars 39)
Protien 1g

Your right there is a load of sugar in it, and I take first thing in the morning, this will change. I assume you suggested taking the creatine before the workout so the carbs are used, or after the workout to replace lowered glycogen stores...???!!

Hi Bobby. I follow the TAP water intake guidlines...clear urine. It takes about 2-3 litres to do this, and im still back and forth to the bog every 20 minutes. Ive tried 4 litres, im almost sick, its a real chore to even get 2-3 sometimes.
