Today at school, I learned that eating before going to sleep will result in having problems falling asleep because your body needs to digest the food before you go to sleep and it takes energy or something like that anyway, is there something to speed up the proces???

Do you eat before bed? Do you have problems sleeping? I do eat, and I usually don't have a problem sleeping.

I eat a good 500 calorie meal about 20 minutes before I hit the hay. I haven't has any problems falling to sleep(cross my fingers).

I normally don't have problems falling to sleep. except for this week, so I started wondering. I guess it's not a big deal [img]smile.gif[/img]

I eat about 200 calories of cottage cheese before bed every night. I sleep pretty well.

I think it might be a myth, but it might also depend on what you ate. A big bowl of chili might keep you (or a partner) awake.

I sleep out on the couch in the living room every night (I hate beds), and I always eat right before I go to bed. And Ive never been able to get to sleep until Ive laid down for a few hours.

Would eating right before you go to bed really cause you trouble going to sleep if your only 16?

I'm 18 and eating before bed has not caused me any problems falling asleep.
