Johnka:
Gourmet Nutrition has now become the most used cookbook in my kitchen! Many thanks!

Last night i ended up with pork chops in the fridge, but no pork recipe in GN. Just wondering if you had a specific reason for not including pork in the book.

I'm not a big fan of "the other white meat" but it's a nice break from chicken.

P.S. The "Tips" that are scattered thru the book are great. For your next edition, I recommend that you add them to the Table of Contents. I sometimes find myself confronted with a situation and think WWJD (What Would Johnka Do). Like, is there a difference between the good fat in almonds and peanuts? I have to go page by page thru the book to find the oil tip.

thanks again for a great book!

Excellent, glad to hear the feedback

There's nothing wrong with adding some lean pork in your diet. I just didn't get around to adding pork to Gourmet Nutrition, mostly because I don't eat it that often either, and I would have had to create an entire section for pork recipes. I do occassionally make pork tenderloin, but I need to bulk up my pork recipes before publishing any.

But don't worry, pork will find it's way into future recipe endeavors.

Thanks, Johnka!

I'm already salivating at the thought of Gourmet Nutriton II!

The once a month that I eat pork, the only way I can think of preparing it is with a dry rub herb marinade. It's pretty good, but I know you can top that!
