I have not purchased the book yet, but after reading all of the reviews I really want to.

I can spend some cash up front to get kitchen ready, but on a week to week basis I can't afford to buy a lot of expensive food. Just wondering if there is a good variety of recipes in the book that don't require a big grocery bill from week to week?

Thanks

Although free-range meat and wild fish is recommended in the book, you can also get by with regular old supermarket lean meat and veggies. I'm used to living the life of a broke college student, so a lot of that frugality went into the book.

Johnka may rebute me but I think that going 'organic' with meats is a bigger deal w/ fattier meats.

That's true - I buy chicken breasts in bulk from the grocery store because they have very little fat, so free range would make little difference in terms of health benefits. But everything else, free range is definitely better.

What is the best way to have this printed? I am being told by print shops that is .49 a page to print in color and at least one told me they will not print off ebooks because of copy right issues. I have a color printer at home, but seems like I would have replace the ink cartage several times.

I printed mine in black and white at Kinko's and got it bound for about $15. Black and white turned out really well too.
