Hi all just came across a pack of these last time i went for a shop heres the nutrional information for them.

Per 100g

Energy 472kcal
Protein 70.9g
Carbohydrate less than 0.1
Fat 20.9g of which saturates 3.9

Now correct me if im wrong but isnt this one mighty fine post workout snack? Extremly high in protein, I also notice a high fat content but only 3.9 sats?

So my question is,Is it wise for me to eat these as after all they are bits of prok fat?

Cheers

First, this would normally go in the nutrition forum. Second, no that is not a good post workout snack. If you mean immediately after your workout, you need carbs and protein (no fat) preferably in liquid form. You can find tons of threads on that in the nutrition forum.
If you mean PPWO, as in the meal you eat an hour after the drink I just finished talking about, then also no that is not a good thing to eat. Sure it has a lot of protein, but it has way too much fat for a post workout meal, and it has zero carbs. Carbs are a good thing, especially while bulking and especially after a workout.

Some kinds of nuts are good to eat because they contain the good kinds of fats, things like almonds, walnuts, etc. They are not good to eat post workout, but any other time of the day should be fine.
