Hey Jonka,
There is too much info on creatine and it gives me a real problem on uses and cycles. Can you please tell me how should you use it and and cycles? I use creatine monohydrate from GNC. Should I add glucose? Do help....

John Berardi said that theres no harm in using creatine everyday Im pretty sure. He does something like 5g in the morning in green tea or something like that.

Like CTA said, just take 5 g a day and don't worry about loading. 5 g equates to 1 tsp.

Right now there is some speculation about problems from with having creatine all-year round. There is not very much conclusive evidence though.

To play it safe, try going 2 months on, 2 weeks off, 2 months on, etc. Or something like that. Really, I don't think you need to worry though.

ok, so the dossage? should I do the loading stuff? Youno, everyone has their own theories, and while I totally appreciate it, sometimes it can be just confusing....

just like Johnka said:

next person can now quote me referring to Johnka who was referring to CTA.

I will remain a holdout and continue to load creatine when I use it.

I just can't wrap my head around why someone wouldn't.

actually, i do the same (load). it just seems it's not necessary if you have the time.

but why wouldn't you? it's such a cheap supplement, and i think it would be easier to tell if you're a "responder" or not after quickly saturating your muscles as opposed to waiting weeks.

I use 1 tsp a day. Have been for months...and honest to God...I can't tell any difference with or without creatine. I was off it for several months before this. NO diff. Anybody else here having the same experience? I really can't see/feel any noticable affect...should I notice something different when using this stuff?

PS - Using Creatine Monohydrate GNC

be careful using diuretics with creatine. I have read in medical journals it places an enourmous strain on your kidneys.

Caffeine doesn't appear to affect the ability to absorb creatine into the muscles - but caffeine might have an antagonistic effect on muscle contraction. Some studies (that didn't test real world events like lifting weights or sprinting) are used as evidence. Look up Hespel, P. on medline.

Jimbo...tried the creatine thing as well. 1 month, no loading 5mg a day at lunch, didnt notice a thing. My dips and chins improved but i think this was placebo and more related to hard work.

I hear you brother!
