Found myself in a dilemma recently.

Been trying to cut and decided to measure my cals on fitday. I've done it previously and thought I was eating around 2400 while using around 2800. If so and I didnt lose weight fast enough I could just cut some out. Turns out I've gradually been eating less and less lately and now I'm averaging around 1700 cals per day. Heres my fitday stuff:

Now am I supposed to start eating more, stay there? What if I dont go down (didnt last week). Do I cut more out or what?

Looks like you're as big of a coffee junkie as I am

I would get more overall protein and hold your fat grams constant. More veggie variety would be ideal also.

Overall it looks good though - plenty of variety, fish, lean protein, etc.

I wouldn't get too caught-up in how many calories you're eating vs. buring. Try to shoot for a general goal and let the scale & mirror guide your increases/decreases in overall k/cal.

Generally speaking I have more veggies than that. Big salad with lunch and a heap of either steamed or stirfried vegies with dinner. Just happenned to throw a chow mein in for variety and leftovers the next night. I'm thinking of some ways to add some protien though, maybe more nuts for morning snack, a hard boiled egg as late afternoon snack and some cottage cheese before bed. See how that works.

Thanks John.
