Question

Okay, quick question here...what's the difference if I use regular beef on a Foreman type grill or extra lean beef on a Foreman? Does the fat content of the regular go down? I'm asking cuz extra lean beef costs pretty much my left testicle and I can't really afford it anymore. Thanks!

Well, extra lean ground testicles on a foreman grill aren't any healther than regular testicles.

Seriously though, it really depends on your current diet. If you are doing a "reduced carb" diet, it probably wouldn't affect your fat loss in a negative way, but it may have an effect on your cholesterol. As Adam Campbell would say, use lean beef just to be "politically correct."

Hey JP,
Thanks for the reply...I'm not the same Nate Dawg seen over at T-Mag. I am a member there but under a different name. I've been a lurker at the Men's Health forums, posting occasionally for about two years now and have been observing here when everyone from there moved over here. Anyway, I must be off. Thanks again!

Here is a tip copy and pasted from another forum:

1. Cut away all of the visible fat, then place steak in a large resealable plastic bag along with 1/2 cup red wine and 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil.

2. Allow the meat to marinate for 24 hours, flip the bag a couple of times.

3. Take the steak out and drain for an hour, throw away the marinade.

The wine works as a solvent to suck out a good amount of the sat. fat in the steak, which will be replaced by the monounsaturated fat.

Nope. I should note that if you drain it well all the alcohol should evaporate during cooking so alcohol content shouldnt be an issue.
