shake circa 400 cals

water + 30 whey + 30g dextro + 30g malto

normally I drink this post work out.. but i'm lookin for a way to add some extra cals to my diet..

so would this be a good shake? or should i replace the dextrose by malto (complex carbs) ?

That is a good shake as long as you are only drinking it PWO. Any other time of the day you don't need the simple sugars in your diet. If you wanna make a bulk/MRP shake just make it with oats, whey, natty pb, milk, and a banana. That's gonna be a lot of cals and be just like having a balanced meal.

You can add another 400 cals by drinking that exact shake, 1/2 before workout and 1/2 during. Then have another full one afterwards.
