Just straight-forward whey protein. I forget what GNC has, but I think it's called "100% Whey" or something. Get a 2 lb. bucket and see if you like the flavor. There are lots of different brands, all with different qualities of flavor. I would recommend getting the relatively small 2 pounders until you find a flavor you like. Optimum Nutrition's vanilla whey is popular.

I'd also recommend getting some maltodextrin online. I don't think GNC sells straightforward maltodextrin. And if they did, they'd slap their name on it and over charge. Look here for some quality, wicked cheap malto to accompany the protein in your post-workout shake:

I would get Optimum Nutrition 100% whey...it's a popular brad. Vanilla mixes will with a lot of things(fruit, etc). If you like chocolate it's good too, just not as versatile IMO.

YOU are SENDING your mom? What's her phone number or email address? I want to tell her she should make you walk your ass over there yourself.

Yes it is. You have to wait a little longer to get the stuff, but once you get in a groove, you can predict when you're going to run out of something and order it 2 weeks ahead of time.

Of course, if you're walking by a Vitamin World, Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, etc. and there's a sale, grab it. I know VM often has it's own brand of protein on sale for very cheap.

But in general, you'll save more by finding a good website.

I guessed that it was likely a bit away. And you surely do love and appreciate your mom. I was just picking on you sending your mom, versus your mom stopping at GNC for you. Maybe a difference is perspective, maybe not.

Online is usually way cheaper. I've used these two places, which have been about the cheapest and also have cheap shipping. I buy 10 lbs bags of Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey and then Dextrose for PWO.

So, maybe oreder online next time. But remember to thank you mom!

Go to www.ezpricematch.com

If their's isn't the cheapest, then you can type in the URL for the place that has cheaper stuff, and then they'll take 5% off that price.
