MetRx Big100

It's a big ass bar, tons of cals, so if you're not working out, cut it into 5ths and space it out over a couple of hours. I did that sometimes last year when I'd be stuck at school all day.

Agreed on the MetRx bar. The Nitro-Tech bars are pretty good too.

Yea, the MetRx big 100 bars are fairly clean besides the high-HIGH sugar content. RockHard's idea is good though.

You can always make your own and take those is some plastic bags or foil...that's what I would do.

chef jay's look pretty good too, but i know their label claims have been deemed false by some independent tests. at least they're supposedly made with whole oats.

Actually, if you look ... The Tri-O-Plex labels have been redone to claim more accurate numbers.

Fir example:

calories run around 430
Carbs run around 47
etc.

Jax, I recommend Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough or Peanut Butter Cookie Dough flavor. Both are high in sugar, so they'd be more ideal during your workout time frame. But they each taste good, and I don't believe either contains transfat.

Tri-O-Plex is pretty good. Anything by Premier Nutrition is great. High protein, low carbs, about 300 calories - very tasty.
