I'm almost out of my 3rd tub of ON 100% whey vanilla flavor. I use it almost exclusivley for my PWO shake. I was wondering if their are any other good vanilla wheys that are better than ON's and have similar nurtional info? Keep in mind I use gatorade powder PWO w/ the whey. I was also thinking maybe some berry flavor might be good with gatorade powder. Any reviews?

Thanks in advance for replies.

I am a BIG fan of ON Strawberry. It tastes great with Strawberry or Watermelon gatorade.

Of you have a Vitamin Shoppe nearby, their brand of whey also has a decent vanilla.

But, if you like strawberry quick in milk, you will probably like the strawberry. However, if you put some in a ziplock bag, it will make everything else in the lunch cooler have a faint strawberry taste.

I had the same cooler problem with pretty much all protein and gatorade powders. I switched to tiny plastic containers. I used the smallest rubbermaid ones for a while. But, now Glad and Ziplock each made those semi-disposable ones in a pretty small size. They are the perfect size for my PWO shake powders and are much easier to pour from than the baggies. A lot easier to measure into, as well. I bought enough for a week's supply and measure it all out on Sunday night.

As to the powder itself, I gave up on flavors other than vanilla. Vanilla works will most gatorade flavors that come powdered, but not all protein powder flavors taste good mixed with something else. Personally, I prefer Artic Freeze Gatorade powder and pretty much any, non-clumping vanilla whey powder.

I mix EAS MyoPro Vanilla with Gaterade Powder and it tastes great. If your intersted in buying a strawberry flavor (also EAS MyoPro), I have found it mixes well with fruit punch and grape flavor Gaterade.

Nutrition facts for EAS MyoPro Whey:
120 cal, 2g fat, 1g sat fat, 4g carbs (4g sugars), 20g protein

Hope this helps.

Hey Johnka, do you use the chocolate or the vanilla? I ordered the vanilla of the grow and surge and really wasn't impressed. I was really disappointed after all of the rave reviews I always read about it. I have been thinking about trying the chocolate but can't help being a bit apprehensive. To be fair I didn't really like the vanilla ON but I love the chocolate ON.......maybe I am just not a vanilla guy huh?
