I am looking into starting with creatine, but as with everything I do, I would to become more educated on it first. So do you guys recommend using it? What brands should I look into? Should I do cycling or just continual use? I searched already and was unable to find answers to all my questions. Please let me know what you think. Thanks for any advice/help you can give.

Yes, using it will likely benefit you.

I use (and would highly recommend) Biochem's Micronized "Ultimate" Creatine Monohydrate.

No reason to cycle it. Use it as long as you feel that it's helping.

I buy the creatine that's cheapest. I bought a tub/jar of EAS Creatine Drink at Target. It is pure creatine monohydrate powder (i.e., no sugar, protein, etc.). Just pure creatine.

I'd agree that the micronized ones dissolve better, but I forgot about that and just bought any old one that I found. It's still mixing fine...

Stay away from the pre-mixed drink ones, as they are more expensive that mixing your own PWO drink with the creatine powder.

I think LD is right, that most creatine mixes well enough. I have gone through several different types, though, searching for a creatine that didn't give me terrible gas. The micronized is the only one so far that digests well. I found it on Johnka's site.
