ok i just got a container of BCAA's from GNC, and i just had some questions on them.
here is what the contents say for each softgel:
L-Leucine (synthetic) 150 mg
L-Valine (synthetic) 45mg
L-Isoleucine (synthetic) 105mg
Vitamin E (d-alpha Tocopherol) 2IU

now for my questions
is this a good amount of everything? sorry to generalize like that but the one thing i havent been able to find is how much to take of what per day or at one time.
i read in Contradictory Nutrition by Marc McDougal that you should take BCAA's between meals, and then after that sentence it has 5g in brackets. does that mean i should be taking a total of 5g each day? the ones i have are 300mg/softgel, which means id have to be taking 15+ each day. this cant be right. BTW i did a search in these forums before posting this just incase, but it didnt get any hits. if this has been answered before a link would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance
p.s. i also posted this in the training forum, then realized i probably shouldve posted it here

i just reread john berardi's precision nutrition and in that article he says to get about 3-5g of BCAA's pre/during exercise and post exercise. how do i get that with the supplement i have(300mg/softgel)? does anyone know of a better/easier supplement for this?
