Johnka,

I tried a Tri-O-Plex bar today, being sure to take into account the "extra carbs" and cals not shown on the label , and man, they're good!

Here's my question. After the guys at MH discovered that they were mislabeled, did you do any research into WHY? I was just wondering, because I'd love to supplement with these, as long as I could trust the nutritional facts.

Or, are your PB Banana bars as good? I guess I should just take the time to bake yours....then I can be positive about what's going into my body!

Thanks for any information that anyone has found about these!

Mike

I'm with you on this...they're tasty treats. They haven't fessed-up why the labeling is wrong, but it's pretty clear that they're loading them with sugar to make them taste better, while leaving this little detail out of the nutritional info.

My PB banana bars aren't quite the same, since I don't use all the sugar But they're good nevertheless. By the way, I'm working on some bar recipes now, and I'm determined to make them just the right texture and flavor, using healthy ingredients.

That's exactly what I've been doing I'm working on the whey crisps for texture.
