I usually have oats for my second PWO meal, after the shake. I like to start my shake during the workout, to provide that extra boost, and I seem to have better recovery that way. So oats are out of the question for this. But I'm sure they would work fine for many people. To each their own.

Johnka, what do you think about oats slowing digestion becasue of the fat(3g per serving) and fiber? Would this be signifigant enough to have an effect?

1/2 hour later, i have a bowl of oats (w/brown sugar) & another shake by xtreme called 'Ice'...which has 0 carbs + BCAA.
