Question

I have a couple of questions when it comes to my protein and my shakes, so here goes.

I am on Adam's diet and it calls for a PWO shake that contains some carbs. My protein only has 1g of carbs per scoop. I usually use 2 scoops (to get me 34g protein). What else can I add to get the carbs that are called for?

I usually have a can of tuna about an hour before I work out. I was wondering if I should add another shake before my workout. What benefits does this give me if I should do that? How much protein should I get in? And should I add any carbs there as well?

Sorry if my questions are stupid, but I just want to make sure I get the most out of my workouts, as I feel that I am not right now. Please let me know your thoughts/suggestions. Thanks in advance.

You should use some type of carbohydrate powder. I use CarboGain. Its maltrodextrin.

I've found the simplest, cheapest solution to be NLarge2 by prolab (note: I only use half a serving (a full serving is 4 scoops and 600 calories!)).
