Question

Sorry this is kind of a rant, but I think a question is in here somewhere. I moved into the dorms about a week and a half ago and I've had problems with my eating ever since. First of all despite what they say the food in the cafeteria is pretty bad except for salads so I can't bring myself to eat it, thus I've pretty much been starving myself. I know it would be better to eat the junk at the cafeteria than to not eat at all, but my question is regarding quick meals. I have a kitchen in my dorm so when I eatI've been making a little chicken and wild caught salmon ($10 pound). I didn't realize how much food was. Now I know my parents would pay for all the meat and stuff, but they're already paying for most of my tuition so I'd rather not ask for more. So I guess what my question is, is what are some cheap alternatives for eating clean. I have some tuna, little bit of fruit, eggs, whole wheat bread, but I can't think of a whole lot of other stuff that doesn't cost too much and isn't junk. If at all possible I'd like to stay pretty high protein, and pretty low carb. I'm trying to lose a little bit of fat, and I'm in the 5th week of the bom. Thanks for reading all of this, any more info needed just ask. Or if this has already been answered just ignore it.

Thanks
GOreilly

If you have any friends that are members at Sam's Club or Costco, ask them to take you with them on day. In case you don't know, you can buy stuff in bulk there for really good prices. Stock up on tuna, chicken, salmon, oatmeal and eggs. Maybe some veggies and fruit too(the only problem with this in bulk is they might spoil before you can eat it all) Also, buy a George Foreman grill...they are great.
