Interesting diet, seems to have been around for years. hmmm I wonder what happens when the diet is over and they go back to their normal eating habits?

Here's a couple of paragraphs,

"The Siegal system requires clients to undergo a series of medical tests, including a blood test and an electrocardiogram(EKG), before being prescribed their diet. Clients with medical conditions, such as diabetes or a hyperactive thyroid, need personalized treatment. Initial costs, including the tests, come to $225.

The average daily Siegal diet consists of six high-protein, low-calorie cookies that are designed to suppress hunger by supplying amino acids. The cookies total 500 calories a day and clients are allowed another 300-calorie meal. Unlike the leniency in the Atkins' diet, Siegal advises against fatty foods for most people.

The program costs $98 a month, plus $21 for a week's supply of cookies, which are manufactured in Kendall by Dr. Siegal's Clinic Supply Corp."

500+300=800....So they are gonna put the average person on an 800 calorie a day diet...is it just me or does that seem sorta mental?

Yeah um, HOLY CRAP. Can you say quack?

"Although five pounds a month is often cited as a sustainable level of weight loss, Siegal says the quicker the better."

I pity all the people who's money he is stealing.

"Dieters should also consume eight glasses of liquid a day, which includes coffee and tea, Siegal says."

That statement right there, not to mention THE REST OF THE ARTICLE debunks his whole plan.

So basically I can not get dehydrated on 8 glasses of Tea and Coffee?

Wow.
