Diet, Nutrition and SupplementationPost here for supplement reviews or nutritional advice. If you're trying to get "ripped abz" THIS is where you should be.
So you just mix them up and drink it? Please give more info if you could... At 1.99 a can, this stuff is a bit pricy and that is why I though about making it. How does yours taste?
I'm a coffee fiend myself, so I know how enticing those red bull & vodkas are. But I steer clear of them because they severely disrupt my sleeping. The combo of caffeine and alcohol are a deadly duo. I can always sleep all night, but it was very light REM sleep, and I wake up feeling like I pulled an all-nighter.
COFFEE (8-oz. cup)
Brewed, drip method - average 184 - range 96-288
Brewed, percolator - average 128 - range 64-272
Instant - average 104 - range 48-192
Well my combo has enough for me. I take 1 pill Optimum nutrition Lean Tea Complex (140 mg caffeine), 3 scoops BSL GO!, and 1 g taurine 10 minutes before a workout. I have had great results with this but I am not sure how much the taurine is doing. I might drop it after I run out but I have a pretty big bag.

I still think how it's funny that these sugar free drinks still advertise as 'energy' drinks. Huh? You took the 'energy' OUT smart guys! Oh and BTW, caffeine and B12 does not equal energy.

caffeine does not directly equal energy in fact, some individuals report being sedated and relaxed by caffeine. the primary pharmacological effect of caffeine is to stimulate the central nervous system. in doing so, caffeine produces a host of physiological effects; it speeds up the heart rate, increases stomach acid, and works as a diuretic. caffeine also dialtes blood vessels making possibly suitable for some asthmatics. over the last twenty or so years, caffeine has become popular as a diet aid because it speeds up the rate at which the resting body oxidizes energy. unfortunately, what most manufacturers fail to mention is that tolerance occures quickly making it unsuitable for long term weight control.

you are correct. I am unfortunate in that caffeine has a relaxing/sedative effect on me. Within 30 minutes of drinking a coke or coffee i start to get alittle drowsy. Makes it alittle hard to pay attention in class .
