I agree w/ Johnka and Lost_Dog, after, or better yet, on off lifting days. I've had really good results doing cardio on 3 off lifting days, and then on 2 of those cardio days, throwing a little ab work in.
But if you feel like cardio is better for YOU before lifting, then by all means do it. All of this is about figuring out what works for you personally. I read Johnka's post the other day about how he can shed fat a lot easier than a lot of people, and with that, he's going to have to do a workout that works good for him. Just figure out what works for you, and stick to that in principal.
