Question

If I don't have any maltodextrin/dextrose is sucrose or a banana OK for PWO or could I have something like Jelly babies along with my whey shake?

Sucrose and fructose are thought to be inferior to malto and glucose PWO because they feed the liver more than the muscles.

But a banana is fine. While it does have some fructose, it is high in glucose compared to most fruit, particularly when it's very ripe.
