sushi is a great source of protien and other nutrients. There's nothing better than fresh tuna and hot wasabi for lunch.

here's a website with the nutritional breakdown for the mediocore sushi i buy almost weekly at the supermarket. It'll give you a good idea of the P/F/C distribution for various types of sushi.

Just remember that it is white rice, not brown.

But, there are plenty of things clean at sushi bars: edamame (soy beans), miso soup, tofu, sashimi (just the raw fish), etc. Plus, you can usually get all sorts of pickled veggies, like radish and ginger.

I usually get some when I go shopping every week. I like it and you could do worse.

The fiber and protein consumed with it make up for the fact that it's "white" instead of "brown" IMO. I've also read that the difference between these WHOLE GRAINS isn't that great. It's not Wonder Bread (white) vs. 100% Whole Wheat.

I vote clean. And now I'm hungry

I just try not to eat as much of the rice. Switched to more sashimi plus a couple of hand rolls and a few bites of rice on the side.
