Studies show that the best way to reduce this risk is to consume a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Onions, apples, celery and broccoli are all highlighted as being particularly beneficial. Veggies and fruit have a host of cancer-fighting elements, such as fiber, folic acid, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and flavonoids.
