I've been craving some hotcakes for breakfast lately. Anyone (Johnka maybe) have a good recipe for some protein pancakes? I would like them to have some whole wheat flour, maybe some blueberries, low fat, high fiber, high protein, etc. Good for a p+c meal.
Any suggestions?

Atkins has a good pancake mix. Casein protein, low carb, etc. Maybe check out a package and see what their ingredients are?
Sorry, best I can do for ya!

I use this one all the time:
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup low fat cottage cheese
2 eggs
lots of cinnamon
some nutmeg
a tsp of vanilla extract.
The only problem comes with the syrup.

I buy one of those sugar-free syrups made with Splenda. It's horrible. Then I add about a third of a bottle of maple extract and it becomes edible.

The pancakes look good! I think I'll whip up a batch and toss in some fresh blueberries

Keep an eye out for a recipe called "blueberry mancakes" in a forthcoming Men's Fitness article.
In the meantime, Joshman's recipe sounds good, and for syrup, blend together some lowfat cottage cheese, splenda, and fruit/berries of your choice (peaches are one of my favs) in an electric blender until you have a creamy topping. Delicious!

TOTALLY kidding!
I thought they were decent, accompanied by sucralose maple syrup... but of course, I haven't had the real thing in probably 6-7 years (for a dozen reasons) so maybe it's relative.

Say anything you want about my hair or my hearing.....I can't deny either, according to Mrs. Bond.....
But, my driving's another matter altogether!
Of course, I can't stand maple syrup, so I ate them dry as I normally eat my pancakes. That might explain the bad taste they left in my mouth, literally and figuratively!!!
