I've read conflicting reports on the link between the two. Anyone have any thoughts?

The reason I ask is that my dad is 5 years post-radical prostatectomy. He's 59 and it's spread to his skull, spinal column, pelvis, ribs, and he's bleeding in the stool. He just took a month off of work to travel with my mother, before trying some new experimental drug.

I'll link some of the stuff I've read later, if no one can provide better stuff. Bottom line is that my paternal grandfather also contracted the aggressive cancer in his mid-fifties. He was adopted, so my family history says (and I realize this isn't quite true) that I have about a 100% chance of the same damn thing.

If the lifestyle I've started to lead is going to elevate a hormone that aggravates prostate cancer, I might have to rethink it. I haven't found anything that is truly definitive.

Have a nice Fourth

Edit: One specific question: Does weightlifting/diet increase FREE testosterone or just TOTAL testosterone? Most studies seem to poing to FREE as the bad one for development of P.C.
