Impressive! As someone who has read your posts for over a year now, it is a nicely pieced-together summary of all of your best advice. Including your own recipe creations is a great way to avoid the "boredom factor" in so many diet plans.

On the supplements: Is the Biochem creatine you use expensive? I have tried Trac and Vitamin World's generic "Creatine", and both have wreaked havoc on my gastrointestinal system. Is the Biochem any easier on it?

My own experience with ZMA (at least as far as one can judge on any supplemental impact) has been slightly positive too. I feel I have gained and have been livelier since I started on it. Like you said, though, could be anything really.

Anyway, it's a good article and I will refer it to my friends. It really gets at the basic heart of the essentials, the real essentials (it's not pro-Atkins, Muscletech, Andro, etc.) So few articles ever include the low-down on omega-3's vs. omega 6's. Having you around the forums has made me take flax for granted, but not many people know it's great value.

Keep it coming, man!

Great job John! Makin' me so proud!!!

One quick question. Did you happen to catch BryanC's post about the ACSM studies on protein requirement? The 1.5 grams of pro per pound of body mass standard was challenged pretty strongly. Here is the link to the post if you didn't catch it.

Does any of it seem valid enough to have an effect on your point of view. You are a lot closer to a nutritionist than I ever will be.

Thanks for the feedback RockHard!

Biochem creatine is much easier on my stomach. I think all of the gas I had with other brands was during the process of trying to break down the particles. It's no more expensive than any of the other brands I've tried.

I'd love to actually get a before, during and after testosterone blood test for various supplements like ZMA, Tribex, etc, to see if there really is any difference.

Hiya JP,
I did see that post - very good one. I'll pull up some articles I've read that provide some support for more protein. I guess there's always evidence on both sides of the fence. For now I've got to get to class. Be back later though...
