I'm new to this Forum, but was wondering what brand and kind of protein bars are good, for a woman, whose trying to loose a few pounds? I need something not high in sugar low fat, has a good amount of protein, tastes good, and has the "good" carbs only. I work out regularly, cardio and weights.

If you find one, let me know. I'm skeptical about the additions of glycerine and sugar alcohols, which all bars seem to be loaded with.

As for taste, Atkins Smores flavor are pretty good. Not that I would know since I'm skeptical and all

Question

Yeah, tri-o-plex really seemed to save the day with their all natural protein bars - but the jury's still out on the legitimacy of their nutritional claims on their labeling.

Does anyone remember what kind of protein bar JP gave away for the retreat?

Try a snack high in protein and low in fat say ummmmmmmmmmm cottage cheese is a good example. Protein bars in my opinion, for what it's worth, are a waste of money.
