Btw, I did mention that I don't digest cooked eggs well. By this I mean that I have in the past experienced pain from eating cooked eggs. But today I have started another experiment. I am trying boiled eggs on their own after eating carbs rather than with. For example I have in the recent past been unable to have poached egg on rye bread toast because it had started giving me too much grief. I stopped eating eggs for that reason but have since found I can handle eggs raw as long as I have them after carbs and definately not mixed with or before carbs at a meal. I am now trying boiled eggs to see what happens. Earlier today I had 4 raw eggs after a carb meal followed by a boiled egg. Result, no problems. One hour ago I had another carb meal followed by 3 raw eggs and 2 boiled eggs. Result no problem yet, so I might have found the problem. I will try 2 raw and 3 boiled later if I am still ok (alive?).

This is related to the "Sequential Eating" thread.

Question

This may be a moot point to you Woz, but if you don't digest them well, why go through all the trouble and agony to try to find a way that your body will accept them? I know eggs have a great PDCAA score, but there are so many other forms of protein that you can consume.

Ah, but Kaiser. Eating them raw away from carbs has not given me pain. So no agony there. I have been eating boiled eggs away from carbs and still no agony. So where's the agony? No trouble either because someone else that can eat boiled eggs mixed with carbs would prepare both foods and eat them together. I prepare both foods and eat the carbs first. Takes the same amount of time to prepare and eat. No trouble.
There are as you have said "so many other forms of protein that you can consume" Consume, yes but I don't digest any of them very well. In fact some like milk products and soya give me a lot of problems.
