Ok today I used www.fitday.com for the first time all day. Well It's now 10pm and I have only taken in 2244 cals pro 38%(212g)carbs 39%(227g) fat 23%(56g). That is how it breaks down. This is about a normal weekend day for me except, I usualy consume less protein and more carbs. I am rather large. 6'0 314lbs 46in waist and about 55in hips just to give an idea. I know I need to cut back a little more on fat. My main question is how do I pack more calories and protein into my diet. I felt full quite often today. I am trying to trim, if I loose weight great, and gain strength. Anyone have some input for me? My strength numbers are 300lbs max bench, 315lbs 4th set of squats for 4 reps, 910lbs max leg press. just to give an idea of my muscular developement. Sorry for the jumping around .

Some great calorie/protein foods that don't have a lot of fat are: 1% cottage cheese, skim milk, egg whites, lowfat or fat free yogurt, whey protein powder. If I can think of anymore I'll let you know.

In my honest opinion, you need to choose to gain strength or loose weight. If I was you, I would cut for a couple months, and then begin a strength gain program.

It is very hard to gain muscle mass, while in turn, loose a lot of weight.

My 2 cents!

I agree with playthegame with one exception... I would rather lose weight than loose weight.

Well not nessecarily lose weight but trim body fat. I think that would be more important than losing weight. I need to be big for college football. I am probably going to be on the light side if I maintain my current weight and make it to the pros.
