I heard that after working out, to have 50-60 grams of protein, 5 grams of creatine, and 5-50 grams of glutamine. But, to spike that with 100 grams of pure dextrose. I understand this somewhat, but what is the diff between, glucose, dextrose, fructose, and reg table sugar?

Well let me see if I can explain this.

Dextrose is basically glucose refined from corn starch.

Glucose is a monosaccharide sugar found in the body,it can also be found as a syrup that contains maltodextrin and dextrose.

Fructose is a sugar found in fruits and honey.

And Surcose(or table sugar)is a disaccharide of fructose and glucose.

All but fructose is high on the GI scale, hence the type of sugars you want for a post workout shake. You need simple sugars like dextrose or glucose after workouts to jack up insulin and replenish glycogen.Hope that helps.
