Diet, Nutrition and SupplementationPost here for supplement reviews or nutritional advice. If you're trying to get "ripped abz" THIS is where you should be.
Thanks, all. I plan on posting regularly. Not sure what frequency I'll be posting, but this blog will definitely be a regular part of my routine. I'm glad to finally have a public venting vehicle.
Hi Alan! Congrats on the new blog. I just signed up for this forum. Hi Elizabeth, Roland, Mom, and all the wonderful people I met on Sunday. Hope all is well!
I miss the "under construction" post though. It had a haiku like quality.

How do I get my pic to show up under my username?
-gwen
After logging in:
At the top of each page is a link that says "User CP". Click on that link (or this one)
Then on the side panel is another link "Edit Avatar". Click on that link.
Select the button for "Custom Avatar"
If the picture is on a hosting site, use Option 1 and paste the URL in the box
If the picture is on your computer, use Option 2 and browse to find the picture. Click on picture, the click open.
When you're finished, click save changes. You should then see your picture.
Note: if your picture doesn't meet the file size and/or dimension requirements (200 by 200 pixels or 29.3 KB (whichever is smaller)), you'll get an error message.
When you get finished with that, if you want to add a Signature, i.e. the -gwen, use the "Edit Signature" link that is also on the User CP side panel.

IMHO, the quality of Alan's posts are worth reading through. He's sharing a lot of great information that can't just be said in a few short sentences.
Plus, these are his introductory posts - a background on who he is and how he got to be where he is today. I'm sure as time goes on the posts will shorten, but even if not, they're worth spending time on.

Gobbla - I'm gonna guess that you're in the scant minority with this opinion. How am I gonna help you procrastinate doing important things if it only takes 15 seconds to read my blog posts?
Gwen - Welcome to teh forumz .
All - So far the response to the blog has been great. Thanks everyone.
Alan - The information is good. My view is that some of those can be filled out into full fledged articles, or if you wanted to be ambitious podcasts. It might just be my demented view of what a blog "should be" though. Regardless, I <3 U and keep up the good work.
Gobbla, I see where you're coming from. I could have drawn out the current 4 blog posts into about 16. But, it wouldn't be in line with my habit of blowing a huge wad too quickly. I'll keep your advice in mind for future posts, heaven knows I'm a newb at blogging.
