srlsy - you don't know what chicken-fried steak is? It's round steak, pounded out, and then made like fried chicken - flour, egg, etc.

I thought "blank-fried-whatever" was whatever fried in blank-fat. Well, that's what I'm told… steak is pretty gross to me whether it's made like a chicken or fried in chicken fat so… *shrug*

So THAT is where the chicken (in the name) comes from! Tracey (girl from the South) tried to tell him that chicken fried steak only comes one of two ways.... meh and ewwww.... I think this one was ewwwww, but the brave nutritionist had to eat on it anyway. He put on a good show at first but he wussed out pretty early on.

I (on the other hand) ate three entire meals that night winning the eating contest by a landslide. He had to drink a large chocolate shake to make up for his earlier wussy actions. He did well with that at least... oh yeah and with the 24 or so drinks that he had the next night. LOL!!!

I actually said it comes in one of 3 ways: awesome, okay, or disgusting and told him not to get it because he wouldn't know what he'd get other than a lot of something.

What's up with this thread? Did he lose another bet?

I'm going to bed full of awesome fried catfish.

I completely missed the awesome possibility. I thought it was a lose/lose order...

No bet (Alan would never bet with me again)... just remembered that these were on my cell phone and Tom helped me get them on the interweb to share with everyone. Just boggles the mind, the food that guy orders...

I am thinkin that perhaps these could end up being used for a poster or some such thing one day....

Little Aragon: "Dad, it wasn't really as big as your head, was it"?
Alan: "Yes it was and here are the pictures to prove it."
