Default Probiotics

Lately I have been listening to the fitcast and they mentioned probiotics. I have been struggling with my stomach lately(past year on and off)
(ex. gas and pain). I was wondering if probiotics would/could be a solution??

Well, I can't say for sure, but once I started taking PB8 every day I haven't had any stomach issues since. I wish I had a dollar for every person I've turned on to PB8. I love that stuff.

I was wondering if say kefir or a similar product would have the same affect?? I really just don't like taking pills( I hate taking the horse tranquillizer size fish oil capsules). Yet, I have heard you want it encapsulated so that it makes it through the stomach to the small intestine.

Kefir and yogurt are great options, as well as fermented foods.
You might want to buy kefir grains and make your own at home (more bacteria + cheaper). Some people find that Greens products have helped, too.

Enteric coated is just so you don't taste it and/or get the fish burps. It keeps them intact until they leave the stomach.

When you eat normal, real fish, digestion starts in the stomach, so it's okay. Fish oil also comes in plain caps, plain old liquid, and gummy bears.

There's no "the same," since probiotics, yogurt, and kefir will have all sorts of similar, same, and different blends of bacteria.

If you don't want to pop supplements, start with yogurts and kefirs and see if they help. If not, or not enough, try adding in some probiotic supplements, but don't stop the yogurt and kefir. It's not all or nothing. Mix and match.
