Default protien powder used by dates

Gday all,

Just a quick question.... is old protien powder safe to use? I was just given some by a friend which is about a year past its used by date... cant afford to by any right now and was wondering if its safe to take. Its a blend of WPI/WPC/casien and a few "fatburning" ingredients as well.

Cheers Ozz :-)

assuming it was stored ok, it should be fine. The first thing should be to see if it tastes "off"

I saw the title of this thread, and thought the question would somehow relate to people drinking protein shakes while ON dates.

At the movie: "You want some popcorn?"
"No, I brought a protein shake."

That would be a weird date.

lol that would be a weird date. I've done weirder things than that though, not on dates, but regarding healthier eating.

A year is pushing it IMO. That would scare me, as does the fact that is has "fat burning ingredients" in it. What brand is it?

Every time I see this thread title I think it is about someone's date using protein powder while eating out or something.
