I have just join the gym a month ago and i havnt started taking whey protien yet ?A month is much i guess , m a bit confused over here so wt u guys say??
If you can eat normal food that supplies enough protein in your diet, then you do not need to do that. However, if you find it hard to eat real food after your workout, supplementing with protein would be a good idea. Think of it as easy food.
I eat whey protein everyday, it's a very easy way to boost your protein intake. I also have some with my breakfast since I am allergic to eggs and don't otherwise get enough protein in the morning. If you get enough protein through food, then don't worry about it.

Maybe you could write in full sentences and whole words so that your posts are easier to understand.
If you want to boost your protein intake with a protein shake, go ahead. But there is no reason to feel obligated to drink whey protein just because you started working out.

I totally agree with Lisa .. I've never been fond of protein shakes for a few reasons ..
1 - I'd rather eat my calories than drink them
2 - It's really hard to find a good protein powder .. most to me either taste too chalky, too much like chemicals, or have added sugars, artificial sweeteners, etc. If it's strictly for convenience standpoint, that's one thing .. but if you're able to get home to eat an actual meal with protein .. I think that's your best bet. Protein for the most part is protein ... unless you're a bodybuilder, I think your standard food sources of protein will do just fine.
You have to understand the point behind taking whey protein. You don't just take it because everyone does.
It's a supplement, if you don't take enough protein sources in your meals, then you take whey proteins. And if you're looking to gain mass, whey protein helps a lot.

Whey protein and any protein is an excellent source of protein. Yet, everyone forgets that any type of protein powder (casein/whey/soy etc) is great for conveince. That is the major benefit of protein powders/supplements. It seems like now-a-days protein after a workout can only come from one of the most processed sources of protein. What is wrong with a piece of turkey/chicken, or a glass of chocolate milk?? If it is due to convience that you want to start using protein supplements, then that is a great reason.
