Question Power Bars, protein powders

I know these are 2 different products- but what do people think of the Power Bar Performances? Are they good for eating after a workout or is a G2 just as good?

Are these protein powders all they're made out to be? I've been pushed to buy them and never have. Isn't lean animal protein or protein from dairy just as good?

Yes. Protein you chew is just as good. That would be because those powders are just from plants/animals … made into convenient form to make other stuff with.
Whey and casein come from milk, beef protein comes from beef, rice/pea/soy come from what you'd expect… as does egg protein.

In many ways, it's like asking "why get the powdered milk… isn't MILK just as good?" Um, yeah. Same thing.

Well, except you can more easily control your protein content and do it without any fat or carbs, if you so desire. Or make them taste like chocolate.

I find personally Power Bars to be too high cal and too low protein for my taste. Tend to go more with Balance myself… suits my interests better. (and taste buds.)
