Default slacking in the vegetable area

can i have some examples of what your eating (how much and what) for veggies. I really have a hard time with this especially when sometimes I eat fast due to having a 3 yrs old and 1.5 year old. today was the worst. homemade speggetti sauce if you even call that a veggie and some brocolli, but not a lot. I had a big banana/peanut protein shake at the gym today that they made me and since I never had it before, i didnt know how much calories were in it and was off key today trying to figure out how many calories I ate and than I had a bunch of rush make something quick meals today. I do usually have more veggies than today, but never enuf that's for sure. I always opt for other things

try tossing some veggies into the pasta sauce (mushrooms, zucchini, etc)

I like to chop up some veggies for use as a quick grab snack - celery, zucchini, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus - and get some hummus or tzatziki for dipping.

Green Giant also makes a good frozen mix.

Steamfresh and Green Giant (kroger brand too, they are cheaper) have some microwaveable veggie steamers now. Lot's of variety (brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, green beens, edamames, black beans, peas) and you literally just put the bag in the microwave for about 4-6 minutes.

With the introduction of these things, there's no excuse for not having time to get your veggies in.

It's easy to make it a rule to eat veggies every time you eat, period.
Precut is best, but you can also just grab and eat a whole pepper, tomato, carrot, cucumber. There are so many options, you just have to have them ready in your fridge, otherwise it will never happen.
