Default Fitday.com Alternatives - Are there any good ones?

I started tracking what I toss down my gullet and was surprised to see the protein/carb/fat ratio. It was different from what I thought it would be.

Anyway, there were a few things that I had to add because they weren't in the Fitday database. That got me wondering if there were better, more complete online food tracking sties out there. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

It's not that Fitday is bad or that I'm unhappy with it, but since I'm just getting started, I'd just as soon start out with a site that is as complete and up to date as possible.

Thanks for the help folks.

There are a bunch of threads on the different calorie tracking programs out there. Here's one, but you can probably search and find a bunch more.

Food intake tracking software/website?

I'm using gyminee.com. I like it because it simpler to use. With fitday I found that I'd spend as much time logging my food as it took to make it. It was too much. But, it was rather complete. Gyminee doesn't have as many foods preloaded, but its very easy to add the info in yourself. I also like that it works as a workout log and diet log. With Fitday the exercise section is incredibly generic. Gyminee allows you to actually create a real workout diary with preloaded or custom exercises. You can track reps, weights, total volume, etc. I also like thier forums, though the folks on there are not nearly as well educated on the subject as the folks at JPFitness are.

Might be worth mentioning that Gyminee has actually changed its name to DailyBurn now. Another fitness site missing from the list is workoutbox which has a range of workout's designed for a specific goals. Their workouts are very well presented and have instructional videos explaining how to do each exercise.

SparkPeople.com rocks ..it's free, the food database is huge, and you can add custom meals in a quick launch if you find that you have a few meals that you rotate often. Plus there's messagboards, articles, recipes, etc. I love it!!
