Default soup idea in TNROLFw

found this quick recipe for 1/2 can of heart healthy veggie soup, 3oz smoked salmon and tuna that you throw together in a pan. tried it today with just the salmon and since I wasnt using tuna, threw the whole 4oz.

I than decided to only eat half, because I could believe the amount of sodium in the salmon or in both of them combined since the soup as sodium as well. I didnt feel like I was eating very healthy so I stopped when I was half done. Is it common for a recipe to be posted in the book with so much sodium?

There's nothing inherently wrong with sodium unless you have conditions that make you need to avoid it. I mean, it makes people retain water, which sucks when they're trying to lose weight and their weight bounces up 3 pounds from one day to the next… but there's nothing "bad" about sodium that normal, healthy people need to avoid it.
