Default Simple Protein Question

OK, I didn't pay much attention during college Bio101. I'm hearing that your body can only absorb 25-30 grams of protein in an hour. That makes sense. I buy it. So, what happens to the extra protein when I eat a 10 oz. steak? Are those extra grams of protein absorbed later, or do they simply...pass..

Say, you eat a big meal and eat 60 grams of protein. How much of that will eventually get used by the body, and how much will go to waste?

That big meal isn't coming out the other end in under an hour, I hope.

I don't see what the problem is with frozen food.

I go through 2kg of Frozen Broccoli and 1kg of Frozen Mixed veg per week...?
(also get about 600g of dates and 7 apples)
