Default stop a slap happy binge!

I'm on my last day of REST of the REPAIR program. Tomorrow is day one of EAT however...tonight I'm just HUNGRAY ya'll! I'v gone over my alloted calories by about 150, so nothing crazy (just a fiber one bar and a few almonds) but I don't want it to get really out of hand. What are some ideas to help stop a binge before it turns into one??
helllp??
THanks!!!

peppermint, caffeine, and (i think) licorice, are appetite suppressants.
Listerine works wonders for making you really not want to put anything in your mouth afterward.
Drinking water is good. Tea works great. (not so much coffee, I find. I think it's the astringent effect of tea.)
eating something like celery which is pretty much water and stuff you don't much digest can work.
chewing gum (mint)

Some people get hungry from chewing gum though.. (it can make you produce too much saliva).

Hot herbal or caffeinated tea & coffee helps. But if it is close to bedtime that's not such a great idea.
The mouth wash & brushing teeth helps very much.
As for actual food: small amounts of fruit are awesome. Mandarins, kiwi, apple or even a small pc of hard (!!!) candy you can suck on ... It must be hard, as soft candy = DANGEROUS. Again, for some people this can have the opposite effect = getting even more hungry.

But a true binge.. no, that can't be stopped. If you claim it is one, it just never was a binge, it was just you being hungry.

If you HAVE to eat something, go for veggies and fresh fruit first.

So THAT's it -- chewing gum always backfires on me when it comes to hunger, but I could never figure out why!!

yeah, sometimes it works for me, sometimes not. mint works better, since mint is a app suppressant, but *shrug* I think it has to do with the size of the piece.
