It sounds like a "diet" much like anything else that is advertised and not intended for long term use.
The diet is based on curbing emotional cravings and dropping weight by what seems eating low calorie, high carb snacks and meals.

Also, to me, it doesn't seem like the optimal diet and would most definitely be something I would steer anyone away from. I'm sure he's best bet is just sound nutritional planning with good macro nutrient ratio's.
