So I was thinking of grabbing some of this protein to try it, only thing is that it's unflavored with no sweeteners.
From the site: "Because we don't have anything in our protein powder except pure whey protein, it has a very very slight dairy taste like milk. For the most part the taste is so slight, that it takes on the flavor of what you are putting it into. This makes for the best tasting smoothies, pancakes, oatmeal, muffins, cookies whatever!"
Has anyone tried it?
You can buy 44 lbs of it for $166, thats $3.77 per pound, heck of a deal. I've never really thought of buying 44 lbs of protein powder, but I would use it all eventually.
No, of course not. If I do get some id buy 5lb of it for $30 first...i was just mentioning that you can buy it in bulk for a good price.
Forty-four pounds is pretty excessive for one person. If it turns out decent enough, you might consider a group purchase. Forty-four split with four people would still yield a long time supply for each.
Ooohhh...that's 44lbs of unflavored, unsweetened whey.

Maybe I'm weird but unflavored with no sweeteners actually sounds appealing. I dislike the taste of all the artificial sweeteners I'm familiar with and today I just added stevia-sweetened whey protein powder to my short lists of foods-I-will-not -touch. Blech. Unsweetened has GOT to be better.

Good luck with that.
Actually I buy all my protein that way now. Obviously I don't buy 44lbs at a time, but unsweetened, unflavored is the way to go. You can mix it with anything, since by itself whey is pretty much tasteless.

What sort of stuff have you tried mixing it with?

Clove, I am right there with you. If u want to try our stuff, I would be more than happy to give you the same free shipping on your first purchase.
Anything. I can drink it straight (altho, not too tasty), mix it with some bulk dextrose I have to make it sweeter and finally add some flavor if I want that. If I'm just making protein pancakes or adding more protein to a shake or meal I already have it works fine.
Having it separate also makes it easy to change ratios for a PWO or pre-bed shake or whatever.
